Matthew 5:23-24 (NIV)
23 Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you,
24 leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift.
Reflection:
When we come before God with our gifts and sacrifices, it is crucial to remember the state of our relationships with others. Jesus calls us to prioritize reconciliation and peace among ourselves. If there is any tension or unresolved issues with a brother or sister, we are called to seek resolution before continuing with our offerings to God.
