Matthew 5:23-24 (NIV)
23 Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you,
24 leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift.
Reflection:
When we come before God with our gifts and sacrifices, it is crucial to remember the state of our relationships with others. Jesus calls us to prioritize reconciliation and peace among ourselves. If there is any tension or unresolved issues with a brother or sister, we are called to seek resolution before continuing with our offerings to God. This teaches us the significance of harmony within the body of Christ and the importance of forgiveness and restoration. Take a moment to reflect on your relationships today. Is there someone you need to reconcile with? Let us strive for unity and peace as we worship the Lord together.ll stumble in many ways. If anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle his whole body." - James 3:2
This verse reminds us of our human frailty and the challenges we face in controlling our speech. It acknowledges that we all make mistakes and stumble at times. However, it also points to the ideal of being able to control our words, which in turn can lead to self-control in other areas of our lives. Strive to be mindful of your speech today, knowing that with God's help, you can become more like the perfect man described in this verse.

James 3:2 states, "For we all stumble in many ways. And if anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle his whole body."
This verse reminds us of our human frailty and the power of our words. We all make mistakes and stumble at times, especially in what we say. However, it also encourages us to strive for mastery over our words. When we can control our speech, we can control our actions and live more in line with God's will.
Let us take this verse as a challenge to be more mindful of our words, to speak with love and wisdom, and to strive for perfection in our communication. Remember that God's grace is with us as we seek to grow in this area, and with His help, we can overcome the stumbling blocks in our speech.
Daily Devotional Message
If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen, you have won them over. But if they will not listen, take one or two others along, so that 'every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.' If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church; and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector. - Matthew 18:15-17

May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. - Romans 15:5-6
Daily Devotional Message
James 3:16 (NIV): For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice.
Let us reflect on the wisdom in this verse and consider the impact of envy and selfish ambition in our lives. May we strive to rid ourselves of these toxic traits, knowing that they only lead to chaos and harm. Instead, let us embrace humility, contentment, and love, fostering peace and goodness in all that we do.
